Entrepreneur's Inner Game Podcast with Nina Cooke

They can’t hire you if they can’t find you

I started off working as an assistant at Time-Life Books in my early 20s.

I liked the work, I was good at it.

But there was one big problem.

I thought everyone else was better than me, cleverer than me, more interesting than me.

They had something that I didn’t have.

They had the confidence that helped them flow through life.

While I was dragging my feet through thick mud.

I felt inferior to everyone else.

This meant that I did my best to hide, to make sure I was never the centre of attention.

Because my belief was, if people noticed me, I would be in trouble for doing something wrong.

So I did my best to stay under the radar to protect myself.

All this hiding away inevitably had big consequences.

It took me longer to get pay rises, to get promoted, to connect with senior people in the company.

The negative story I had created about keeping myself safe was holding me back.

Are you doing the same thing?

Are you hiding behind your desk by not marketing your services consistently?

What devastating effect is that having on you? Your business?

Watch this short video to see how you can overcome this and put yourself out there in a bigger way.

You deserve to be seen.

P.S. After you watch the video, let me know what’s the main reason that you‘re not putting yourself out there.

To your magnificent success,

Nina
