Eleanor Roosevelt Really Hit The Nail On The Head

Eleanor Roosevelt How did Eleanor Roosevelt hit the nail on the head?

Well, she said something so wise and true, that if we all lived our lives according to this, we would live fearlessly and with total freedom.

So what did she say?

She said:

“Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

Isn’t that just brilliant?

I wish someone had told me this when I was a young girl, completely intimidated by a certain family member whose sole pleasure in life seemed to be to intimidate me.

I wish I’d known this because it would have saved me decades of playing small, being scared to speak out, feeling unloved and unwanted.

And another thing:

Because I felt inferior to most people, I allowed people to walk all over me. I kept trying to validate my self-worth by trying to get them to like me.

I dealt with my low self-worth by putting up a tough exterior to protect myself and keep myself safe.

What I didn’t realise was this crucial truth:

That how other people treat you is a reflection of how you think about yourself.

If you think you’re worthless, others will too.

I was lucky.

I stumbled upon a way to get my confidence back and build up a rock solid sense of my worthiness.

I found a way to eliminate my Limiting Beliefs that I’d been holding onto since I was a very young child.

My limiting beliefs Included:

“I’m not good enough.”

“It’s dangerous to draw attention to myself.”

“I’m not allowed to play big.”

“I’m unloveable.”

“I’m not important.”

Once I dissolved these beliefs and replaced them with new powerful ones,  the results were magical in my life and in my business. My blossoming self belief meant I started attracting high level clients which exploded my income.

This strong core of certainty that I am completely good enough, holds true for me, whatever happens in my life and in my business, whatever anyone says or does.

And the bonus?

The thought of letting anyone intimidate me or put me down now seems impossible to me.

What about you?

Do Eleanor Roosevelt’s words resonate with you?

Are you going to continue to allow other people’s opinion of you stop you from having the success you want?

If you’re ready to create unstoppable confidence, let’s talk. I GUARANTEE I’ll find the min spots that are blocking your breakthrough. Then we’ll create a plan to dissolve them.
